Congratulations on getting engaged! This is one of the most exciting times of your life and should be celebrated! I highly recommend doing an engagement session, because it allows you and your fiance to get comfortable in front of the camera and allows us to get comfortable with working together. Kind of like a practice session before your big day! I love getting to know my couple's on a personal level and letting their unique personalities shine through at their engagement session. Don't worry about feeling overly posed or stiff... but be ready and open for me to ask you to do some crazy and silly things (like dance around like you're in a rodeo), because that's when the real fun begins and your genuine emotions come out!

I love working with couples who like to dress up and look elegant for their engagement photos... because I believe you can never be overdressed! Need help or styling advice with choosing outfits? Don't be afraid to ask, I'm here to help you with that!

The Process

Planning

Pick a location- Let me know the theme you're going for (urban, vintage, nature?) and I'll suggest some of my favorite locations to shoot at. I'm always happy to explore and discover new locations!

Pick a date- I do engagement sessions Mon-Sat. (depending on availability) and I don't shoot on Sundays. I suggest booking a date with me at least 3 months in advance.

Pick a time- I always suggest doing sessions about 1-2 hours before the sun sets to get that beautiful golden light.

Pick an outfit- I suggest bringing 2 outfits. A dressy option (cocktail dress, a gown, a suit, a tux) and a more casual option (Skirt and top, a sundress, dress pants, a collared shirt) and don't forget, accessories make the outfit!

The Session

Don't worry about a thing... this is a time for you to celebrate your love! Don't worry about the way that you look, the most important thing is to let loose and have some fun! I'll take care of the rest... and trust me, you'll look flawless.

A typical engagement session usually takes about 2 hours.

Delivery

Your images will be delivered no later than 3 weeks after your session.

Images will be delivered on an online gallery - feel free to share with friends and family!
