I first met Alissa and Rocco when they hired me to photograph their wedding in October of 2017. I knew from the start they would be a dream couple to work with just by their laid back and fun personalities. I was proven to be right when I photographed their wedding, which was one of my favorite weddings to date.
So, when they approached me to do their maternity session, saying yes was a no brainer! What an honor it is to have returning clients, who trust me to document yet another super important milestone in their life! We decided on doing the shoot at the historic Union Station in Utica, NY, since the winter whether was so iffy between the rain, snow and cold. Shooting here would give us the option of an indoor/outdoor location. We lucked out with the weather, because it turned out to be a sunny winter day with weather in the 40's. Yes, sadly that is a high for us Upstate New Yorkers in January. As soon as we started the session I said to Alissa and Rocco, "I just remembered how photogenic you both are.", because it's true. They are both so easy to pose and photographic and their chemistry comes naturally. We ended our session at Proctor Park, in Utica NY for a more woodland/nature look. I'm so happy for Alissa and Rocco, and so happy to be able to document their growing family. They will be wonderful parents!
